     John E. Cozean was admitted to practice in Missouri and Michigan in 1998.  He received his B.A. from Wake Forest University in 1993.  In 1998 he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.  From 1998 to 1999 he served as law clerk to the Honorable Stephen N. Limbaugh, Jr., Judge of the Missouri Supreme Court.  He is a member of the Scott County Bar Association as well as the Missouri, Michigan and American Bar Associations.  Cozean is an Adjunct Faculty Member for the Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology at Southeast Missouri State University as well as the author of Chapter 15 Nonjury Trials for The Missouri Bar CLE publication on Civil Trial Practice.  Cozean practices primarily in the areas of litigation and transactions.
