SHAUN D. HANSCHEN is originally from Jackson, Missouri. He was the salutatorian of Jackson High School in 1997, and attended the University of Missouri - Columbia where he earned his B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Spanish in 2001. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He attended law school at the University of Missouri - Columbia where he was a member of the Missouri Law Review and the recipient of the award for Highest Scholastic Achievement among third year law students. Hanschen was also chosen as a member of the Order of the Coif following his graduation in 2004. He served as the law clerk to the Honorable Phillip R. Garrison of the Missouri Court of Appeals - Southern District in Springfield, Missouri. Hanschen is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Illinois, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Hanschen practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury, insurance defense, and employment litigation.
