     SHAUN D. HANSCHEN is originally from Jackson, Missouri.  He was the salutatorian of Jackson High School in 1997, and attended the University of Missouri - Columbia where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2001 and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Missouri Alpha chapter.  He then attended law school at the University of Missouri - Columbia where he was a member of the Missouri Law Review and the Order of the Coif and the recipient of the award for Highest Scholastic Achievement among third year law students.  He graduated in 2004 and then served as the law clerk to the Honorable Phillip R. Garrison of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District in Springfield, Missouri.  Shaun is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Illinois, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
