Nurse Consultant
Carole Hillis is an in-house nurse consultant. Carole is a graduate of Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Carole graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 1995.
Carole, a Registered Nurse licensed by the State of Missouri, has a broad range of clinical experience. She has worked in emergency departments, pediatrics, a post-anesthesia care unit and in surgery. Carole has successfully completed a Trauma Nurse Specialist program. Carole's expertise and experience brings a unique perspective and valuable contribution to our legal team.

Melette Pobst

Paralegal
Melette Pobst is a Paralegal in our general litigation practice. Melette is a graduate from Sikeston High School in Sikeston, Missouri.
Since 1985, Melette has assisted attorneys in litigation matters, including tort, product liability, family law, corporation, personal injury, medical malpractice defense, probate, estate planning and general business cases.
Melette assists with medium to large complex litigation matters in State and Federal courts, including preparation of discovery requests and responses and assisting with document collection. In addition, Melette has responsibility for trial preparations including computerized support, managing litigation files, tracking deadlines, developing budgets, and preparing chronologies and quarterly reports to clients. |

In-house Nurse Consultant
Melissa Hubbard is an in-house nurse consultant. Melissa is a 1990 graduate of Sikeston High School in Sikeston, Missouri. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 1997.
Melissa is a Registered Nurse licensed by the state of Missouri. She worked eight years as an Obstetrical/Gynecological nurse at a local hospital. Melissa cared for antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecological patients. She also has experience working in the Neonatal Nursery and Pediatric units. |

Paralegal
Lydía King is a Paralegal in our general litigation practice. Lydía is a graduate of East Prairie High School in East Prairie, Missouri, a recipient of the National Service and Leadership Award, and a student of both Three Rivers Community College and Southeast Missouri State University.
Lydía previously served for three (3) years as a Dunklin County Deputy Court Clerk to the Honorable Dan J. Crawford and the Honorable John M. Beaton. She is experienced in civil litigation, product liability, personal injury, medical malpractice defense, estate planning and corporate law.
Lydía assists in all areas of the firm’s litigation practice at both the State and Federal Court levels, including preparation of discovery, file organization and management, tracking deadlines and trial preparation. |
